When I first started playing arena, a friend much more PvP-experienced than myself explained to me the difference between two-healer team and 4 DPS: "A two-healer team is a balanced fighting force, using positional and defensive advantages to their advantage. Think of a castle, fortified with archers and boiling oil. A 4 DPS team is more akin to a juggernaut, barreling through walls and relying on brute force. Sometimes the castle wins; sometimes the battering ram is successful. The lines of attack and defense are much different, however."

The goals of 4 DPS

The general strategy of a 4 DPS team is focus-firing a favorable target to force the opposing team to play defensively. Once the opposing team is on the defensive, crowd-control enemy healers at times when burst is lined up.

Switching is far less common on 4 DPS setups because of two factors:

1. Less time. Shorter matches. The longer the match goes, the more likely the 4 DPS team is likely to lose. If a team weathers the initial assault, they feel much more apt to put pressure on the 4 DPS team. This allows for a sense of greater control.

You've probably experienced arena matches in which it feels like you're in complete control -- you're not under any pressure to avoid damage or crowd control. You can adjust strategy and tactics much more easily than you could if you were being constantly berated by damage and loss-of-control effects.

Not only do advantages like this allow you to win the game, they force you to become a better player. If you forfeit the advantage, the loss stings more. Coordinating kills with teammates when you are in a equal state with an opponent allows you to understand each other more fully.

4 DPS teams don't ever want you to be in a comfortable position. They want to pile on the damage until you feel you have to drop your strategy just to survive. At this point, they throw as much crowd control as they can muster on your healers. If they're successful, you'll almost assuredly lose.

Switching does not factor into this equation. It allows the jordan shoes enemy team to see it coming and throw up a defensive cooldown, such as Pain Suppression or Hand of Protection. Moreover, it takes time to switch. That five seconds when everyone is setting up to surprise the enemy? The opposing team could regain control by hitting the 4 DPS team with some solid crowd controls.

2. More damage. A 4 DPS team can put out incredible amounts of damage. Two healers can rarely heal through four opposing DPS on a single target, especially when many (or all) of those opposing DPS have instant-cast Counterspell effects or crowd controls (like Blind).

Switching is nearly necessary for two-healer teams because it's much harder to heal a switch of three coordinated DPS than it is to healbot through constant damage from the same players. It's also worth noting that two-healer teams rarely have a shaman-druid lineup for maximum crowd control -- therefore, it's harder to stop opposing healers from simply outhealing your team's damage.

School lockouts

Polymorph, Fear and Cyclone are all exceptionally good crowd control at virtually all points in the game. However, these effects are less efficient at scoring a kill than others.

4 DPS teams have always had an affinity for Counterspell effects. There are many reasons school lockouts like Counterspell, Wind Shear and Spell Lock are superior (especially on 4 DPS teams) to cast-time crowd control:

Cast-time crowd control suffers spell pushback.

Cast-time crowd control itself can be interrupted, negating lots of damage in the future.

Instant-cast school lockouts stop healing for 2 to 3 seconds.

Often, instant-cast school lockouts will apply a magical debuff that (if not dispelled) will increase the time of the Counterspell effect.

Front-loaded time is lost from the heal that was never completed, while virtually no front-loaded time is lost from a school lockout ability.

Instant-cast school lockouts are much harder to predict and avoid.

For this reason, 4 DPS teams are usually stacked with classes that possess school lockout effects. Warlocks, mages and shaman all bring exceptional counterspells to the table, while rogues can Kick and shadow priests can Silence. A death knight's Strangulate is also a valuable tool, but usually overlooked.

Because of the plethora of interrupts available to most 4 DPS teams, avoiding overlapping counterspells is a huge issue. If the christian louboutin opposing team has two healers, splitting each teammate to a different healer and allowing them to work in tandem is the norm.

For example, an opposing team has a priest-paladin healing duo. The warlock and shaman will be assigned to interrupt the paladin, while the mage and rogue work to interrupt the enemy priest. The warlock will have to let the shaman know when he is spell locking and the shaman will have to call out Wind Shears. The mage and rogue largely ignore these calls, as they are not assigned to deal with the paladin (but instead are doing the same thing by calling out interrupts on the priest).

Take everything you think you know about the upcoming Cataclysm Talent Trees and throw it out the window. In a stunning announcement today and after much criticism from players, Blizzard has announced the biggest changes to the talent tree system that WoW has possibly ever seen. Continue reading with us here at Ten Ton Hammer as we give you an overview of the coming changes:

The talent trees of Cataclysm are finally being put on an extreme diet. To snip off the fatty excess talent trees in Cataclysm will be reduced to 31-point talents in an attempt to give them the feel of what Blizzard calls “concentrated coolness“. To perform this drastic makeover Blizzard plans to cut most passive talents from the trees allowing players to access their talents without all the red tape.

For those of you who are fond of your passive talents don’t fret, while passive talents will no longer make their home in the standard talent tree they are not be pulling a complete vanishing act. Instead players will be introduced to a new method of specialization where once you gain you first talent point you will be required to pick your chosen type of game play. For example a Druid at level ten will be

If these changes stick, talents trees will get a complete overhaul in Cataclysm.asked to pick Feral, Restoration, or Balance.

Once chosen the passive talents will come into play as players will gain these passive talents for free, and also gain access to a signature gucci shoes ability that defines the role you have chosen. This allows players to still have access to important passive abilities, without actually wasting talents points on them, and also allows players to come into their own as the specialization they choose much earlier.

But perhaps the biggest change comes with the revelation that once you have chosen your specialization of choice you must spend the 31-talent points in that tree before you may use points in any other tree. However players are not stuck with just this one specialization as dual-specialization and re-talenting will remain the same. To balance talent points with these drastically reduced talent trees, players will only obtain 1 talent point about every 2 levels (41 points total) instead of every level. On the off levels players will most likely gain a spell or ability instead of a talent point to help keep things interesting. Finally players adventuring in areas for level 78 and above will notice a new stat on their gear; Mastery. Mastery can be learned from your class trainer and once learned will provide bonuses based on the tree they are specialized in.

In my opinion these changes are some huge steps in the right direction for Blizzard. Talent trees as they stand are cumbersome and unruly, with useless and lame talents galore. While Blizzard’s first preview of Cataclysm talent trees had me discouraged, after this most recent announcement I once again have hope that the talent trees of the future will make the game more fun, interactive, and less tiresome for all players.

That being said the information provided in this first announcement is rather vague, and how these changes will actually pan out in Cataclysm ed hardy remains to be seen. However for now I’m pleased with these changes, and am looking forward to seeing them implemented in game.

Например в самую левую сумку (если открыть все сумки, она будет на самом верху) можно складывать самые важные вещи, в следующую можно складывать предметы необходимые для заданий, в третью класть вещи для профессий и т.д. В ваш основной рюкзак можно засунуть еду, воду, предметы для лечения. Так вы всегда будете знать, что у вас где лежит.

Внешний вид персонажа

Для некоторых игроков самое главное в одежде и броне - то, как она смотрится на их персонаже. Во время битвы внешний вид персонажа не самая важная вещь, там главное это бонусы к характеристикам. Но зато красивая одежда tiffany выделяет вашего персонажа из толпы, делает его красивым и запоминающимся. Если ваш внешний вид для вас важнее кучи непонятных циферок, то одевайтесь красиво и старайтесь поменьше драться.

Характеристики

Для большинства игроков самое важное это характеристики их брони/оружия и их эффективность в бою, а внешний вид их мало беспокоит. Если вы из их числа, лучше сразу узнайте, КАКИЕ характеристики наиболее важны для вашего класса персонажа. Как это узнать? Лучше всего спросить у других игроков, играющих персонажами вашего класса, лучше поискать персонажа с высоким уровнем, т.к. они дольше играли и знают больше. Так например, воину лучше всего подыскать себе оружие, наносящее побольше урона и вещи с прибавкой к силе и/или выносливости.

Какая вещь лучше?

Это стандартный вопрос. Если вы не можете выбрать между двумя вещами, всегда можно спросить других игроков (ваших друзей), скорее всего вам подскажут. И не бойтесь спрашивать, ПОЧЕМУ одна вещь лучше другой, так вы научитесь самостоятельно выбирать себе броню и оружие.

Если у вас с этим совсем туго, можно просто подойти к купцу в магазине и посмотреть: какая вещь дороже, та скорее всего и лучше! Правда такой метод иногда дает сбои.

Продажа вещей другим игрокам

Купит ли у вас кто-нибудь вещь, которую вы хотите продать? Это зависит от спроса и удачи. Другие игроки будут чаще покупать у вас вещи, если они им нужны и продаются по хорошим ценам. Легко доступные веши не пользуются особым спросом. Если вам интересно, какие вещи пользуются наибольшим спросом и за сколько tiffany jewelry обычно продается та или иная вещь, лучше всего почаще заглядывать на аукционы. With the opening of the tunnel from Orgrimmar, Azshara has been infiltrated and taken over by the Goblins. Goblin labs, houses, and other buildings dot the landscape, including a Goblin run rocket roadway called the Rocketway Exchange that will blast a player to almost anywhere in Azshara. The biggest change to the zone however has to be that Azshara is now a low level area, suitable only for players under level 20, making the Rocketway Exchange even more valuable allowing players without mounts to move quickly throughout the zone.

The waters outside Azshara have not been left untouched; a sea port has been erected, along with a small fleet of ships, to defend the harbor against enemies and giving the Goblins a firm hold on the land. Trade Prince Gallywix himself has even taken up residence here, erecting his very own “Pleasure Palace” near the middle of Azshara.

The Naga still remain here in Azshara, most predominantly in the Ruins of Eldarath, however they are now braced for war. The Goblins are determined to wipe the Naga from the face of Azshara and have launched a beach front attack on them. The Naga in turn have enlisted giants to fight for their cause, and erected a shell spike defense along the shore. Who will win this battle is still undetermined, it’s quite likely the Goblins will get impatient and simply blow the Naga (and in turn themselves) up.

The Barrens

The Great Divide now separates the Barrens into two zones.The Barrens is without a doubt where players can venture to see the destruction Deathwing has wrought on the world in full force. No where else on Azeroth is it as evident (at least in my opinion) of the changes and utter destruction that Cataclysm has wrought on this world we hold so dear.

The Barrens has been ripped in two, so that instead of a single zone, players are now faced with two; Northern and Southern Barrens. The Northern Barrens mostly remains the same, such as the Crossroads; home to old school world PvP still stands. Overall the zone feels like the Barrens of the past, even Barrens chat remains firmly in place. Heading South West from the Crossroads towards the Wailing Caverns players will stumble across the first sign that something is amiss.

R.I.P Camp T.Here a great rift filled with lava has been torn in the earth, scarring the land and forever separating the Barrens. Across this divide lies the Southern Barrens which, thanks to the efforts of the druids, has begun to spring to life. Traveling south through the Southern Barrens however, you will once again find mass destruction.

Both Horde and Alliance have laid down roots in the mountain area of the Southern Barrens, and war has erupted. Camp Tauranjo is just one sad casualty of the war, as it has been set afire by the Alliance forces seeking to push forward into the Northern Barrens and beyond. A huge battle scar mars the landscape as well, spanning the gucci handbags center of the Southern Barrens from north to south.

The war between Alliance and Horde rages in the Southern Barrens.War machines litter the scar and warriors from both factions walk the edges, awaiting the next battle.

With the Alliance pushing ever northward, and with the extinction of Camp Tauranjo, the Taurens of Mulgore have taken precautionary measures and erected a huge gate, intended to stop the flow of Alliance forces into Mulgore. However, the Alliance have already moved their siege engines into place, leaving us to wonder how long this last line of defense can stand.

Western Plaguelands

Cataclysm has brought the Western Plaguelands back to life.With just a quick glance at the map, Western Plaguelands looks unchanged by the events put in motion by Deathwing. Upon further inspection players are in for a surprise; the Western Plaguelands are coming back to life. The grass is no longer plagued and dead, and even the perpetual fog of the zone seems to be dissipating. Flowers are in bloom, and animals without diseases have made their homes in the Western Plaguelands once again.

With the renewal of the land, Western Plaguelands has not surprisingly been repopulated. Most of the farms have been cleared of Scourge, and the fields are once again producing crops. Hearthglen has been tamed and is now a haven for all who support the Argent Crusade. Andorhal has also come to life, Alliance buildings have sprung up on the western edge of the city, while the Forsaken have taken over and built their own town on the eastern boarders of Andorhal.

Andorhal is being rid of it's Scourge population by both Horde and Alliance.The center of Andorhal however is still occupied by Scourge, and Araj the Summoner still remains, however both Forsaken and Alliance are engaged in a battle to win back the city in its entirety, both wanting to gain a bigger foothold in this now resource rich land. Scholomance, however, remains untouched by the changes to the main portion of Western Plaguelands. Perhaps this isle is doomed to be cursed forevermore.

Darkshore

Darkshore, much like the Barrens, has been the victim of what appears to have been a massive tidal wave, most likely set into motion by the cataclysmic events throughout the world. Trees have been torn from the ground, and those that survived the destruction near the shore remain in a permanent lean, a constant reminder of the tragedy that befell this land.

Malfurion Stormrage commands a whirling vortex filled with debris in the center of Darkshore.The landscape is now cut through with waterways, looking much like a jagged jordan shoes jigsaw puzzle that was never properly put together. Auberdine has been almost completely destroyed by the rising waters. The only inhabitants of this once proud sea side city are air elementals. The Night Elves have rebuilt in the far north of the zone, once again along the coast, in a town called Lor’danel.

To top all of this off a raging whirlpool now lies in the north of the zone and is the final destination for all the newly cut rivers. A whirling vortex of energy mars the middle of the zone, and at its center is Malfurion Stromrage who claims that it is the only thing keeping Darkshore from being torn apart. Small volcanic eruptions also dot the landscape, to complete the reminder that Darkshore is now one of the most unstable zones in Azeroth.

Plus ils traversaient les terres accidentées et montagneuses de Lordaeron, plus leur voyage devint périlleux. Comme ils étaient effectivement coupés des énergies vivifiantes du Puits d'éternité, beaucoup d'entre eux tombèrent malades en raison du climat glacial ou moururent de faim. Mais le changement le plus déconcertant était le fait qu'ils n'étaient plus ni immortels, ni immunisés contre les éléments. Ils rapetissèrent quelque peu et leur peau perdit la teinte violette qui les caractérisait. Malgré ces épreuves, ils rencontrèrent un grand nombre de créatures merveilleuses qu'ils n'avaient jamais aperçues en Kalimdor. Ils découvrirent aussi des tribus d'humains primitifs dont le territoire de chasse s'étendait dans les anciennes forêts. Mais ils rencontrèrent aussi de grandes menaces, dont celle des trolls des forêts de Zul'Aman, des êtres avides et fourbes. Ces trolls à la peau moussue étaient une race barbare et malfaisante capable de régénérer leurs membres sectionnés et soigner de graves blessures physiques. L'empire Amani s'étendait sur la plupart des terres du nord de Lordaeron et les trolls bataillaient dur pour expulser les étrangers indésirables hors de leurs frontières. Les elfes développèrent une profonde aversion pour ces trolls vicieux et les tuaient dès qu'ils en avaient l'occasion.

Après de longues années, les hauts-elfes parvinrent enfin à trouver une terre leur rappelant Kalimdor... Au cœur des forêts du nord du continent, ils fondèrent le royaume de Quel'Thalas et s'attelèrent à la création d'un empire encore plus ugg boots puissant et grandiose que celui de leurs cousins Kaldorei. Malheureusement, ils découvrirent rapidement Quel'Thalas avait été bâtie sur une ancienne cité considérée comme un lieu sacré par les trolls. Ces derniers se ruèrent aussitôt à l'assaut des constructions des Elfes.

Les elfes obstinés refusèrent d'abandonner leurs terres et ils décidèrent d'utiliser la magie qu'ils avaient puisée dans le Puits d'éternité pour repousser les trolls. Certains elfes, se souvenant des anciens avertissements des Kaldorei, se mirent à craindre que cette utilisation de magie n'attire l'attention de la Légion ardente. Ils décidèrent donc de dresser une barrière autour de leurs terres, afin de pouvoir continuer à utiliser des enchantements. Des Pierres runiques monolithiques furent dressées en différents points autour de Quel'Thalas, afin de marquer les limites de cette barrière magique. Les Pierres runiques ne se contentaient pas de masquer la magie elfe aux yeux de la menace extra-dimensionnelle, elles servaient également à effrayer les tribus guerrières trolles.

Au fil du temps, Quel'Thalas devint un monument à la persévérance des hauts-elfes et à leurs prouesses magiques. Ses palais somptueux furent érigés en utilisant le même style architectural que ceux des anciens bâtiments de Kalimdor, tout en étant entrelacés avec la topographie naturelle du terrain. Quel'Thalas était devenue le joyau étincelant que les elfes avaient si longtemps cherché à créer. Le Concile de Lune-d'argent fut désigné comme instance dirigeante de Quel'Thalas, même si la dynastie Haut-soleil parvint à conserver un semblant de pouvoir politique. Constituée par sept des plus éminents christian louboutin boots seigneurs hauts-elfes, le Concile œuvra afin d'assurer la sécurité des elfes et de leurs terres. Au-delà de la vallée de la Faille de l’ouest, qui sépare la toundra de la région montagneuse de Frimarra, des explorateurs ont récemment observé une activité accrue sur un site magique connu sous le nom de Nexus. Niché dans la vallée de Frimarra, le Nexus est une colonne d’énergie magique entourée d’anneaux recouverts de terre en lévitation. Ce site antique avait été créé par le Vol bleu, et de nombreux aventuriers attribuent cette activité accrue à la réémergence de l’Aspect dragon bleu, Malygos. Les habitants de la région ont également noté un regain de tension entre les membres du Vol bleu, tout particulièrement en ce qui concerne l’utilisation de la magie.

 L’Alliance a également établi une présence plus réduite dans la toundra. Les deux factions se préparent à lancer une offensive contre le roi-liche et ses armées de morts-vivants, mais elles doivent d’abord s’occuper de la menace nike shoes la plus immédiate : les nagas. Cette sinistre race serpentine utilise d’énormes générateurs pour faire fondre les glaciers et calottes glaciaires environnants, menaçant d’inonder la région entière.

L’Alliance et la Horde ont entrepris un très long voyage pour gagner Norfendre. Et pourtant, pour ces pionniers intrépides, les véritables défis sont encore à venir.

J'ai pris la quête, puis j'étais tellement pressé de visiter le nouvel Azeroth que j'ai pas pris la peine de le virer, ni d'enlever l'interface (chose qu'on me reproche assez souvent tu noteras)

Et puis c'est vrai que comme moi, l'interface ou ce genre d'affichage ne me dérange pas, j'ai pas pensé à le virer pour les autres.

D'ailleurs, à ceux qui se plaignent, ces screens étaient initialement réservés à mon forum WaoW et à ma guilde, alors venez pas vous plaindre de l'interface quand je viens quand même tout partager avec vous.

Franchement je préfère largement avoir ce genre de screen que des screens sans rien.

Je trouve dommage qu'on ait pas plus de screen avec interface + personnage visible à l'écran. Ce genre de screen nike shoes nous permet quand même de mieux s'imaginer comment va etre l'extension que des screens sans interface totalement insipides parfois.

Je ne joue jamais sans interface 

Les screenshots sans texte c'est bien pour faire photo souvenir, mais pour nous montrer le jeu tel qu'il sera, je préfère avec les textes moi aussi.
